Entry Requirements
To enroll in the Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, learners must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: An honours degree in a related subject, a UK Level 6 diploma, or an equivalent overseas qualification.
- Experience: Mature learners with management experience should verify their eligibility with the delivery centre before registering.
- Age Requirement: Learners must be at least 21 years old at the start of the course.
- English Proficiency: Learners from non-majority English-speaking countries must provide evidence of English language competency.
Course Equivalences
The Level 7 Diplomas on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) are equivalent in level to master’s degrees. However, they are shorter, consisting of 120 credits. To obtain a full master’s degree, learners must complete an additional 60-credit dissertation stage at a university.
Course Outline
The Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership includes four mandatory units and two optional units, totaling 120 credits, 1200 hours of Total Qualification Time (TQT), and 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).

Duration and Mode of Study
The qualification is designed to be completed within one academic year for full-time students. However, it offers flexibility to accommodate part-time and distance learning.
Delivery methods include face-to-face lectures, tutorials, seminars, and online learning, exclusively through approved centres.
Assessment and Verification
Assessment: All units are internally assessed and externally verified. The qualifications are criterion-referenced, based on achieving all specified learning outcomes.
Evidence: Learners must provide evidence to demonstrate they have met all learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
Judgement: Assessors will judge whether learners have successfully met the criteria and provide an audit trail of their decisions
Progression
Upon successfully completing the Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, learners can advance in their careers or join the MBA Advanced Entry route in UK and across the globe.
Since this qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), learners are also eligible to progress to an MBA top-up with advanced standing at many universities in the UK and internationally.
